Ceramic Coating & Protection for Luxury SUVs
A BMW X5, Mercedes GLE or Cadillac Escalade is a genuine investment, and the paint, trim and interior on these vehicles deserve a level of care that matches it.
What We See Most
BMW X5 and X6, Mercedes GLE and Cadillac Escalade are among the luxury SUVs we most want to see more of in the shop, and the approach below is built around what these vehicles actually need.
The Luxury SUV Approach
Paint correction, where it is needed
Dealer-prepped and lightly-used luxury SUVs sometimes carry more swirling than owners realize — dealership washing is rarely gentle. A light correction before coating is worth discussing at quote time.
Exterior ceramic coating
A Level 2 or Level 3 coating suits most luxury SUVs well, particularly on darker colours where swirl marks show most. Wheel-face or full wheel and caliper coating is a natural add-on given the size and cost of the wheels these vehicles typically run.
Interior protection
Premium leather and open-pore wood or piano black trim benefit enormously from interior coating — both from a protection standpoint and because it makes the ongoing upkeep dramatically easier.
Window tint
We install Geoshield and UCA film, which pairs well with the darker factory glass many of these vehicles already have from the rear seat back.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I correct the paint before coating a luxury SUV?
If it has any age or dealership history, it is worth having inspected. Many arrive with more swirling than the owner realizes, particularly on dark colours.
Do you coat wheels on luxury SUVs?
Yes, and it is a strong add-on given how expensive these wheels typically are to replace or refinish.
How long does a full protection package take?
For a correction, coating and interior package together, plan on the vehicle being with us for several days. We would rather take the time than rush it.
